My name is Muniro Balde, the Chairman of the Charity, born in Guinea Bissau and currently residing in Manchester, England.
The aim of the charity is to help people throug on their daily difficulties in order to get access to basic needs such as food, clean water, and medication. The testimony of this situation led us to create the Open Arms charity that has been established since 2016. The mission of the charity is to prevent or alleviate poverty in the minority West African immigrants living in Greater Manchester and other areas in the UK, as well as those in extreme need in West Africa.
The main objective of the charity is to provide these essentials mentioned above, as well as used garmets and medication to ease the hardship people going through.
The charity seeks to promote health and well-being to these people and work in partnership to educate children under the age of 16 in Guinea Bissau.
